Gearold Wilson

Mr. Gearold Wilson, of Morriston, Florida, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at Williston Regional Hospital. He was 72. Born in Jackson, Michigan, he came to Morriston 10 years ago. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and was a prisoner of war during this time. He was an equine dentist and served the area for 10 years and retired in 2010. His hobbies were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors are: mother, Mary Wilson; 1 son, Gene and wife Danielle Green; 2 brothers, Buck and wife Marty Wilson, Dave and wife Cindy Wilson; 2 sisters, Penny and husband Phil Chrzan, Missy and husband R.J. Schutt; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Rose Wilson, in 2006, and his sister, Janet Hawkins. A memorial service will be held at Mr. Wilson's home on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from noon until 3 p.m. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
