Daniel Potter

Daniel Lancer Potter passed away on Friday August 22nd, 2025. He was 55 years old. He was born in Live Oak, FL on December 29th, 1969, to Danny and Carol Potter. He was a lifelong resident of Dixie County and the father of three children, Daniel, Steven and Heather.

Lancer was a mechanic and owner of Lancer's Garage. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mud pulling, working with his hands and many years ago, racing at local racetracks. Some would say he had an adventurous soul. Those of you who knew him will get a laugh out of remembering some of those adventures.

Lancer is survived by his wife Terra Potter, Son Daniel Rhodes, Daughter Heather Acosta, sister Pam (Lucas) Barden and four grandchildren and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Danny and Carol Potter, son Steven Rhodes and wife Kim Potter.

Lancer is gone too soon and will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him. There will be a celebration of life that will be announced later. Thank you to everyone who offered prayers for Lancer and his family.
