Lawton Sadler

Mr. Lawton Sadler, of Bronson, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland, Florida. He was 90. Born in Perry, Florida, he came to Bronson in 1985 from Dunnellon, Florida. Mr. Sadler was one of twenty three children born to Thomas and Rhoda Sadler. He was employed by the Goethe Lumber Company for 21 years. He helped build Georgia Pacific Saw Mill in Chiefland and also the Adele Lumber Company in Adele, Georgia. His hobbies were fishing, building, but his top priority was family. Survivors are: 2 sons: Mack "Bo" Sadler, Jim Sadler and wife Sheila; 3 daughters: Catherine Harper, Katie Hutcherson and husband David, Mary Sadler; 1 brother: Amos Sadler and wife Patsy; 15 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the chapel of Knauff Funeral Home - Chiefland, Florida. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland. Burial will be at the Old Town Memorial Cemetery, Old Town, Florida, under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home - Chiefland. SERVICES Funeral Service
