James Drew

Mr. James "Jim" Drew, age 90, passed away August 28, 2016 at Oakhurst Care Center in Ocala, Florida. He was born in Willow, Florida. He came to Williston in 1962 from Starke, Florida. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williston, where he was actively involved. He loved to fish and travel. He was employed by Hercules Powder Company for 37 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Morse code operator. He was preceded in death by his wife Katrina in 2010. Also, his oldest son, two brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by: one son, Anthony Drew; one sister, Joyce Patropalos; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1st, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Williston, Florida. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at the Clifton Family Cemetery, Marvin Community, Georgia.
