Henry Radacky

Mr. Hank "Henry" Radacky, of Williston, passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2016. He was 95. Born at Woodbine, Iowa, he had lived most of his life in Williston. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Williston and served as an usher for many years. He successfully owned and operated an electrical, water-well drilling and repair service, and plumbing business in the Levy County area for many years. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was dedicated to his community and served on the Williston City Council for nine years and for four of these years was president of the council. He was in charge of the Orange Hill Cemetery for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening was a top priority. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice in 2010. Survivors are: 2 nephews, Richard and wife Karen, and Mike and his wife Kathy; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Orange Hill Cemetery - Williston. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Knauff Funeral Home - Williston. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Methodist Childrens' Home in Lakeland, Florida. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
