Dorothy Butler

Dorothy M. Butler, of Williston, passed away Friday, August 12th, 2016 at Hospice of Marion County in Ocala, Florida. She was 77. She was born in Fort Meyers, Florida and came to Williston in 1973 from Orlando, Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williston. She proudly served her country in the United States Navy. She loved going antiquing, friends were very special to her. She loved her grandchildren and her top priority was spending time with her family. Survivors are: 2 sons, Billy E. Butler, Jr. and James G. Butler and his wife Linda; 1 brother, Art Grey; 1 sister, Patricia Blain; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held August 22, 2016 in Knauff Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Jason Owenby officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to the Hospice of Marion County. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements. SERVICES
