Obituary
Robert L(Bobby) Arrington Bobby took his heavenly flight home on August 1, 2016. Bobby was son of Willie Eugene Arrington and Jennie Laura Gay Arrington. He was born in Levy County, where he spent his entire life. Following his graduation from Chiefland High School in 1947, he was drafted into the Army. As a member of the 187th Field Artillery Observation Battalion, Bobby fought in the Korean War. Upon his return from the war, he met the love of his life Mary L Kennedy and they were married on June 3, 1955. As a married couple they established their homestead on their farm only two fields from where Bobby was born and raised. During their 61 years of marriage, Bobby so loved and adored Mary that he provided for her every want and need so she never had to have a job outside the home. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bobby loved people, he loved to talk with others, and certainly enjoyed his breakfast and companionship with his buddies at Hardees each morning, the famous "breakfast crew". His other enjoyments of life was hunting and spending time with his grandson Wes Grant. His survivors include his wife, Mary L Arrington and daughters Bobbie J (B.J.) Arrington and husband Tom Pettigrew, Linda F.(Tim) Pedersen. Grandchildren, Wes (Julie) Grant, Cody Pedersen, and great grandchildren Arri, Darby, and Reid Grant, all of Chiefland and close family friends Floyd and Phyllis Cook of Morgan City, Louisiana. He was proceeded in death by his parents Willie and Jennie Arrington, and 4 brothers Alston, Lenah, Sid, and Bill Arrington. Graveside services will be at Chiefland Cemetery at 10:00am Friday, August 5, 2016. SERVICES Graveside Service
