Minnie Modisett

Minnie L. Modisett, a life-long resident and beauty salon operator and beautician of Bronson, Florida, passed away July 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was 89. Mrs. Modisett owned the Ann-Rae Beauty Salon in Bronson and was a hairdresser there for over 50 years when she retired in 2006. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Bronson. She loved painting (oil), reading, gardening, square dancing, and bowling, but her top priority was her family. Survivors are: 2 Daughters: Nancy Adams and her husband Paul; Dorothy Bullard and her husband Roddy. 2 Granddaughters: Janna Hartley and her husband Hector Ramos; Holly Bentley and her husband Matt. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Bronson, with Reverend Jeff Buchanan officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Private burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home - Williston.
