Vernon Lane

Mr. Vernon Dee Lane, a 23 year resident of Williston, Florida passed away Friday, January 29, at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was 78. Mr. Lane was born in Durham, North Carolina. Locally he worked in construction as a wall paper hanger and hung wall paper in some of the local businesses, of which he was proud. He was of the Baptist Faith and came to Williston from Lake Worth, Florida. He loved woodworking, fishing, welding, and spending time in his work shop. Survivors are - Wife: Pearl, Daughter: Theresa and husband Frank Bunting, Sister: Betty and husband Dickie Bright, 3 Granchildren, and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Burial will be at a later date. Knauff Funeral Home - Williston in charge of arrangements.
