Howard Allen

Howard C. Allen, 61, passed away September 15, 2015. Mr. Allen had spent all his life in the Chiefland area, and was a member of the Hardeetown Baptist Church. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Carol Matthews Allen, his parents Silas and Dorothy Allen and a brother Leroy Allen. Mr. Allen is survived by his daughter Haley Aultman (Jason) of Ocala, FL, his brothers Robert Allen (Cande) and David Allen (Melanie) both of Chiefland, his sisters Kay Gordon of Chiefland, Ida Brunger (Jim) of Bell, and Carolyn Allen of Chiefland, and his grandchildren Madelynn and Caul. Funeral services for Mr. Allen will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 18, 2015 in the Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel with Pastor Thomas Keisler, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Long Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home, 715 W.
