George Harvey, 90 of Williston, Florida passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. George had a passion for his family, fishing and logging. He also loved the Florida Gators.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Linda Harvey of Williston, Florida. His children Linda Hopkins (Willie), Eric Harvey (Rochelle), Robert Morell (Tara), Faye Preston, Tangela Bynum (Dedric), Muhammad Coleman all of Williston, Florida; Lorraine Nelsen (Mike) of Sarasota, Florida; A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Charlie James (Jeneen).
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little… but not too long, and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me … but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone. It's part of the masters plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me… but let me go.
