Henry Philmon

Mr. Henry D. Dan Philmon, 71, of Old Town passed away at home January 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Ruby Philmon. Henry was a mechanic for many years and made many friends in the area. He is survived by his three children Daniel Dana K. (Debbie) Philmon of Old Town, Cynthia E. (Dale) Adams of Caryville, TX, and Iris A. (Sean) Swaney of North Ft. Myers, FL, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. His brothers William B. (Linda) Philmon of Old Town and Kenneth M. (Stella) Philmon of North Ft. Myers, FL and his sisters Shirley A. (W.G.) Cannon of Old Town, Marty L. Williams of Maryland, and Carla S. Philmon of Sanford, FL, also survive. The family wishes to thank Haven Hospice and the staff of the Tri Counties Care Center in Chiefland for their wonderful service during Dans stay there and at home. Sister Shirley for her day to day and year loyalty and care. A memorial service for Dan will be held 2:00 PM February 8, 2015 at the District 1 Community Center in Old Town off HWY 349.
