H.E. Osteen

H.E. Osteen, 76, of Bronson, Florida died Friday, November 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Ocala, FL and lived most of his life in Bronson, FL. Mr. Osteen retired from Capitol City Bank as Community President of Gilchrist County. He was a member of William T. Carlton Masonic Lodge #46 F&AM and served as past Master, Secretary and District Grandmaster. Mr. Osteen was also Charter Member of the Life Time Association of University of Florida and an avid Gator fan of the University of Florida. He was founding member of the Gilchrist Education Foundation and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Williston, FL. Mr. Osteen is survived by his wife, Gail Osteen of Bronson, FL; 2 sons, Eugene Donna Osteen of Coral Springs, FL, Scott Carrie Osteen of Tallahassee, FL, daughter, Frances Chris LaSalle of Bronson, FL; Step Daughter, Rebecca James Ware of Apopka, FL; 15 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grand children. Visitation was held on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 at Knauff Funeral Home, 715 W. Park Ave., Chiefland, FL. Funeral Services were held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Williston, FL. Burial followed at Rose Mary Cemetery, Bronson, FL. Arrangements under the care of Knauff Funeral Home, 715 W. Park Ave., Chiefland, FL.
