Joseph Smith

Joseph "Joey" Tennis Smith 43, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at his home. Joey was of the Baptist faith and a 5 year resident of Chiefland. Mr. Smith was born to Michael and Teri of Plant City, FL in 1970. He was an auto body technician by trade. He enjoyed fishing and boating but above all just being with his family. Joey leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 27 years, Wendy Daughters, Erica Jo Smith Daily (Seth) of CO, Brittany LaGail Smith and Tiffany Leanne Smith both of Chiefland, Mother, Terry Smith of Chiefland, Brothers, Michael Smith of Lakeland, Chris Smith of Plant City, Sister, Jamie Draper of Lakeland, Grandchildren, Hailynn, Kyrien, and Brylee Jo, Mother-in-law Fay Wasden of Lakeland, He was preceded in death by his Father Michael in July of 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the chapel of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland at 2:00 pm. Pastors Tom Keisler and John Rudd will be officiating.
