Edgar Futch

Edgar Ed Futch 80, of Old Town passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at his residence. Ed was of the Baptist faith. He was born to Queed and Eula Futch in Cross City and has live in the local area all of his life. He is a retired Lineman and a proud member of the IBEW. Ed was the last living Constable of Dixie County. Mr. Futch enjoyed helping others do most anything, he also enjoyed Fishing and hunting but, most of all he loved being around his family. Mr. Futch leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 32 years Marie Futch, Sons, Buddy Stills, Richie Edenfield and Tim Edenfield all of Cross City, Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Monday, June 2, 2014 in the chapel of Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church in Old Town. Pastors Cecil Highsmith and Bobby Lindsey will be officiating.
