Nancy Gay

Nancy Cannon Gay, 69 a longtime resident of the local area, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Starke, FL. Mrs. Gay was of the Methodist faith. She was born to Eb and Nettie Cannon in 1944. She enjoyed walking, watching television, assisting residence at the nursing home where she lived, but above all she loved her family. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, Son Terry Harp of Keystone Heights, Daughters, Brenda Brown of Hawthorne, Michelle Marti of Gainesville, Elizabeth Gay of Bunnell and Beatie Gay of Keystone Heights. Brothers, Buddy Cannon of Chiefland and Freddie Cannon of Bell. Sisters Mary Lu Conner of Trenton, Katherine King of Bronson and Francis Norman of Lawtey and 6 Grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday, 11:00 am May 27, 2014 at Cedar Key Cemetery in Cedar Key, Florida. Reverend Jimmy Scott will be officiating.
