William Springer

William Albert Springer age 82 of Williston, FL passed away on June 14, 2013 at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Hospital in Gainesville, FL.. He was born on November 24, 1930 in Middletown, New York to Frances and Josephine (Peine) Springer. He served in the United States Army. He then worked as a retail manager for many years. He moved to Williston, FL 5 years ago from Fruita, Colorado. He was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Otisville Presbyterian Church in Otisville, N.Y. He was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, horses, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Anne Springer; daughter Holly Anne Springer; brother Raymond Springer (Flora); sisters Marie Orchard, Katherine Dodd (Douglas); and his special nephew David Sausville. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank Springer.
