George Munsell Jr.

George R. Munsell Jr. age 73 of Williston, FL passed away on June 10, 2013. He was born on December 6, 1939 in Miami, FL to George Sr. and Frances Munsell. He was of the Christian faith. He moved to Williston several years ago from Tallahassee, FL. He was a jockey for many years up until his retirement. He then worked on many horse farms around Levy and Marion Counties. He had an article written about him in the Williston Pioneer titled The Iron Horse He enjoyed traveling and trout fishing. He is survived by his son George Munsell II of Rhode Island; daughter Michelle Munsell of Arizona; Brother Thomas Munsell (Donna) of Williston; Sister Gay Self of Lake Mary and his grandson Brody Munsell. The family plans to hold a private memorial service at a later date.
