John Vause

John David Vause age 86 of Williston, Fl passed away on May 30, 2013. He was born on March 9, 1927 in Williston, FL to Levie and Marie Vause. He has lived in Williston, FL all of his life. He was a Christian absent from the body present with the Lord. He attended church at the First Presbyterian Church of Williston and the First United Methodist Church of Williston. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed collecting many things, gardening and hunting. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and VFW. He was owner and operator of the Williston Sun for many years. With his passing he leaves behind his son John D. Vause Jr. (Laura), 2 grandchildren and his nephew and caregiver Joseph R. Vause (Fay). He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan M. Price. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00 am at Plummer Cemetery with Reverend Dalton Burch officiating.
