Patrick John Spurlock
April 4, 1963 – April 22, 2026

Patrick John Spurlock, lovingly known as Pat, passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 63.

Pat was married to the love of his life, Regina Lynn Spurlock, for over 37 years. Their marriage was one of deep devotion, partnership, and love. Together they built a life full of laughter, family, and cherished memories.

Pat was a proud father. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick John Spurlock, in April of 2014. He is survived by his son Rick (Rayell) Grimm and by his grandchildren, Justin, Trinity, and Tiffany, who brought him immense joy.

Pat graduated from Airport High School in Carleton, Michigan, in 1981. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent over 30 years as a pipefitter with Local 636 in Detroit. After retiring, Pat and Regina moved to Luzerne, Michigan, but soon decided that snowy winters were “for the birds.” They eventually settled in Chiefland, Florida, where Pat loved the warmer weather and sharing his days with their beloved cats, Blackie, Push‑Up, and Doc.

Pat is survived by his siblings: Mike (Kim) Spurlock, Curt (Deb) Spurlock, Steve (Dorcas) Spurlock, Karen (Jerry) Bryant, and Jim (Gretchen) Spurlock, along with too many cousins, nieces, and nephews to count.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Doris Spurlock, his son Patrick Spurlock, and his brother Billy Spurlock.

Pat was fun‑loving with an infectious laugh and a warm heart. He loved to swim, eat a good meal and enjoy a few “cold ones”.

To know Pat was truly to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in his life. A celebration of life for Pat will be held in Michigan later this summer.
