Obituary
Sally Mae Browning was born on January 13, 1946 in Chiefland, Florida and passed away at Hospice in Chiefland on June 7, 2026. Sally was a lifetime resident of Levy County. She worked as OAA Coordinator at the Suwannee River Economic Council until she retired in 2012. Sally enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with family and loved ones, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. Sally had a big heart, a giving nature, and could always make you laugh.
Sally is preceded in death by her father, Jasper Gore; her mother, Emma Gore; and son, Troy High. She leaves behind her dear companion, Flim Rogers; son, David Browning; stepsons, Chad (Jasmine) Rogers and Alan Rogers; grandchildren, Kierstan Crumpton, Kody (Shaylyn) Crumpton, and Allee Grace Rizer; great grandchild, Grayson Crumpton; brothers, Larry (Marilyn) Gore, Charles (Judy) Gore, Jerry Gore, and Tony Gore; and sisters, Mable Bass, and Kathi (Gary) Southard.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:00 am at Antioch Cemetery located at 9831 NW 70th Street Chiefland, FL 32626.
