Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Cyndi on July 3, 2026, while on vacation. She passed away at her favorite place—the beach—a place that always brought her peace and happiness.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Cyndi spent her childhood growing up in Miami, Florida, where she developed the vibrant, outgoing personality that everyone came to know and love. She lived life with contagious energy, a generous heart, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.
Forty-one years ago, Cyndi made Williston her home, where she and Alan built a beautiful life together and raised their daughter, Tiffany. Together, they grew Williston Tire & Automotive into a trusted local business through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to serving their customers and community. Cyndi loved giving back to the town that had given so much to her family. She was especially passionate about supporting local youth and was always happy to lend a helping hand, sponsor community activities, and encourage the next generation. Her generosity, kindness, and love for her community left a lasting impact on countless lives.
Cyndi was the devoted wife of Alan, her soulmate, best friend, and the love of her life. For 38 wonderful years, they built a life filled with unwavering love, laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories. Their marriage was a true partnership and an inspiration to everyone who knew them.
She was the oldest of six siblings and is lovingly remembered by Tammy and her husband, Wilson; Connie and her spouse, Claud; Rocky and his spouse, Lucy; Charlie and his wife, Cassie; and Tracy. As the oldest, she helped shape a close-knit family and remained a constant source of love, strength, and laughter throughout her life.
Her greatest pride was being a mom to her daughter, Tiffany, who was truly the light of her life. She also loved her son-in-law, Jack, as her own. Just five months ago, Cyndi stepped into the role she had dreamed about for so long—becoming “Grammy” to her precious granddaughter, Mila. Watching Mila grow brought her immeasurable joy, and every moment they shared became a treasured memory. Being Mila’s Grammy was one of the greatest blessings of her life.
She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Lance; Jewell, her husband Wesley, and their children, Weston and Rhys; Tommy; Amber; and Austin, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and unforgettable spirit.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Marie, whose passing in February of this year brings comfort in knowing they are together once again.
To know Cyndi was to love her. She had a larger-than-life personality, an infectious laugh, and a way of making everyone around her feel like family. She loved deeply, celebrated life’s moments wholeheartedly, and left a lasting impression everywhere she went.
Although her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, her love, strength, and vibrant spirit will continue to live on through Alan, Tiffany, little Mila, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be missed beyond words, loved forever, and remembered always.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Weems & Son Funeral Homes.
