Barbara Snow

Barbara Snow of Williston, Florida, passed away on July 26, 2026.

Barbara was born on March 6, 1940, in Boston, Massachusetts. She lived a life of service, dedicating her career to animal welfare as the director of multiple humane societies throughout the United States. She also served as Director of the Southern War Dogs Association, where she was a passionate advocate for the rights and recognition of war and service dogs.

Barbara loved traveling and had a deep compassion for animals. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Richard Snow.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Miaoulis; her granddaughter, Natalie Miaoulis-Maillis; her grandson-in-law, David Maillis; and her great-grandchildren, Andreas and Lucas Maillis.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Williston, Florida. Visitation will begin 30 minutes prior to the Mass.
