Silvia Fletcher

Silvia M. Fletcher, a devoted mother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. Born on July 10, 1935, to Joseph V. Gonsalves and Sabatina (Bastanzi) Gonsalves, she lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her three beloved children, eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren who were a treasured part of her life. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May she rest peacefully and may her memory be eternal.

A visitation will be held at Weems & Sons Funeral Homes Chapel on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 1:00pm. Parking for the visitation will be available on the east side of the chapel, between Weems & Sons Funeral Homes and Williston Home Furnishings. There will be a graveside service at Orange Hill Cemetery following the visitation which will begin at 2:30pm.
