Michael Hawthorne

Michael James Hawthorne passed away September 14, 2026.  He was born July 10, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Gladys Ann and Donald Hawthorne.  He was born the 6th child of the family and ALWAYS loved to refer to himself as #6.  Michael was quick witted and would always leave you with a laugh.  He truly loved fishing and hunting and was well known to grow a garden or two.  Michael loved his family and friends.  He was very proud of his daughter Tiffany  and both of his sons Elijah and Josh and he adored all of his grandchildren.  Michael had his struggles later in his life but will always be remembered in our hearts for the positive contributions he made to our lives.  

Michael was predeceased by both his parents, his sister Christina Mae Gurka and brothers Donald Raymond Hawthorne, Jr. Robert Leslie Hawthorne, William Perry Mims.

He is survived by his daughter Tiffany Leigh Standridge (Jeremy) Williston, FL, son Josh Loredo (Crystal) Ocklawaha, FL, son Elijah Butsch, Fort Wayne, Indiana, sister Sandra Gillar (Frank) Riverview, FL, brother James Dennis Hawthorne (Peggy) Riverview, FL, sister Shari Winters (Peter) Ocala, FL and brother Patrick Hawthorne (Chrystal) Nashville, TN., 12 grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
