Roland “Bruce” Willits

Roland “Bruce” Willits, 75, of Archer, Florida, passed away on September 18, 2026. Born on August 25, 1951, in New York, Bruce lived a life that was as tough and unmistakably his own. He went to college intending to become a veterinarian, but changed course and spent most of his life working as a mechanic and truck driver.

Bruce was a biker through and through — the kind of man who was rough around the edges and full of piss and vinegar, never one to back down or soften for anyone. But underneath that hard exterior was a sweetness that came out for the people he loved, and anyone lucky enough to see it knew it was something special. He was a protector, devoted to his family, and that love was the quiet constant beneath all his bluster.

Bruce is survived by his wife, siblings, 6 children, 9 grandchildren, and extended family. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his toughness, his humor, and the tenderness he didn’t show everyone, but which meant everything to those who got to see it.
