Obituary
Audra Lee Persinger, 58, of Morriston, Florida, passed away on September 28, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. She was born on November 24, 1967, in Newburgh, New York.
A proud Levy County resident of 43 years, Audra was a graduate of Williston High School, Class of 1985. She went on to build a 30-year career as a Claims Specialist with Nationwide Insurance, where she dedicated herself to her work and the people she served.
Outside of her career, she found happiness in the simple pleasures of life — reading, shopping, and spending time with her beloved cats. Some of her most treasured memories were the moments she shared with her father, Mike. The two shared a special bond and even co-wrote a Christmas song together, “Below the Mistletoe,” creating a beautiful piece of their story that her family will cherish for years to come.
But her greatest joy was her family, especially her two precious grandchildren, Carsyn and Collyns, who lovingly called her “Gigi.” She treasured every moment with them, and the love she poured into their lives will remain with them always. Being their Gigi was one of the greatest joys of her life.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Robert Persinger; her beloved daughter, Cassidie Persinger (Calvin Smith); her parents, Michael Stevenson and Joyce Hilton; her grandchildren, Carsyn Smith and Collyns Smith; and her bonus daughters, Stephanie Banks and Elizabeth Barber. She also leaves behind many dear friends who will forever remember her with love and affection.
Her life was made meaningful by the people she loved, the memories she created, and the countless moments — both big and small — that she shared with those around her. Though her absence will be deeply felt, the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 3240 NE 180th Avenue, Williston, FL 32696.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Weems & Sons Funeral Homes, 512 E. Noble Avenue, Williston, FL 32696.
