Willard J McElveen

Willard John McElveen, a resident of Gulf Hammock, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. He was 91 years old. Willard was born in Otter Creek on May 12, 1935 to parents Willard and Alma McElveen. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Millie McElveen, his son’s Price McElveen & Jim McElveen. His granddaughter, Erica McElveen, Devin Jones, his grandson, Dylan McElveen, Falon McElveen, his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Willis Kennlynn McElveen, Devin Lynn Jones (DJ), Willow Connell, Anastasia Ledlowhi, Gunner McElveen, Octavia McElveen. He is predeceased by Tony McElveen, Justin Price McElveen & Penny McElveen.

A funeral to honor Willard’s life will be held at the Wekiva Run Baptist Church in Gulf Hammock on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Brother Bill Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at the Cedars of Lebanon Cemetery in Inglis with full military honors performed by Fort Stewart Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 236.
