In Loving Memory of Gregory Joseph “Gregg” Wiedemann
August 26, 1955 – October 25, 2026
Gregory Joseph Wiedemann, lovingly known as Gregg, passed away on October 25, 2026, leaving behind a family who will forever carry his love, his laughter, and his memory in their hearts.
Gregg was a man who loved to make people laugh and bring a little happiness into the lives of those around him. He had a way of making memories that would be carried long after the moment had passed. He was someone who made sure his family was taken care of, someone who showed his love through his actions, and someone who wanted the people closest to him to know they mattered. He understood that sometimes the most meaningful expressions of love were not found in grand gestures, but in simply showing up when someone needed you most.
As a son, husband, father, and grandfather, Gregg leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in years alone. The love he gave, the memories he created, and the moments shared with his family will continue to live on long after his passing. For those who loved him, there will always be little reminders of Gregg in everyday life, moments that bring a smile, stories that get told over and over, and memories that become even more precious with time.
Gregg had a passion for Volkswagen Bugs, swamp buggies, mudding Beetles, and the things that brought him joy. These were more than just hobbies; they were a part of who he was. His family will continue to remember him through the things he loved, the stories he shared, and the memories connected to the passions that made him uniquely Gregg.
But beyond the things he loved, Gregg leaves behind something far more important: his family and the memories that will live on long after his passing.
Gregg’s family will carry those memories with them, holding close the lessons, the stories, the familiar sayings, and all the little pieces of him that can never truly be lost. Though saying goodbye is one of life’s hardest heartbreaks, the love shared between a father and his children does not end when his life does.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wiedemann, and his little brother , Westley Wiedemann.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Wiedemann; his beloved wife, Michelle Wiedemann; his son, Matthew Wiedemann;his granddaughter, Hazel Wiedemann; his son Aiden Wiedemann; his daughter, Elizabeth Wiedemann; his stepson, Michael Noe; his step-grandchildren, Conner Noe and Kaydee Noe; his daughter Sarah Wiedemann; Granddaughter Aleshaun Bennett.
One of the greatest parts of Gregg’s legacy will be the generations who come after him. His grandchildren may not always have the chance to hear his voice or experience every moment with him, but they will have stories to tell, memories to cherish, and a family who will make sure they know him. They will know the man he was, the things he loved, and the family they came from. Through those stories, a part of Gregg will continue to live on in them.
Though his passing leaves a space that can never be filled, his life will continue to be remembered in the rumble of an old VW engine, the sight of a Volkswagen Bug, the sound of a familiar song, and the quiet moments when his family wishes they could hear his voice just one more time.
He was loved beyond words, and he will be missed more than words could ever express. His family will carry him forward, keeping his memory alive and making sure that the generations who follow will always know the man they called son, husband, Dad, Papa, and family.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
Gregg will always be a part of the people he leaves behind.
