Obituary

John Koll of Bronson, Florida, passed away from this world on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 60.


He left behind many heart felt memories of cooking for family and friends when we visited his home. A connoisseur of homemade spaghetti, which was always requested by the grandkids. He loved the game of chess, reading books, fishing trips, and spending time with family. John had a great work ethic and took much pride in his work as a gardener/ landscaper. John was such a hospitable person, his siblings who lived long road trips away always looked forward to arriving at his welcoming home.


John was born on July 13, 1964, in Costa Rica. He was the fifth child of Franz and Helene Koll from Germany. John lived in many states in his lifetime including Missouri, California and Florida due to a family that enjoyed to travel.


He is survived by his wife of 30 years Teresa Griffith. His daughter Gretchen K. Seeley (Shay), stepdaughters Aimy Alsobrook (Daniel) and Gayle Hartsfield, along with a loving nephew Mark and niece Leila, great nephew Ben and great niece Emma. Grandchildren Christopher, Cassidy, River, Hunter, Gabriel, Diego, Raylee, Chance and Makayla. Siblings Silvia L. A. Coffey (Larry), Nova M. Koll (Bobby) and Frank M. Koll.


He was preceded in death by his parents Franz and Helene Koll, his brother Mario Koll and his nephew Emon Hantoosh.


May your soul and spirit walk with Jesus to your eternal home with God. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sunshine warm upon your face, and the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Hello Friends and Family! My sincerest sympathy for the loss of 'Pepe' (as I have always known my uncle John). I spent most of my time around Pepe in my younger teen years. During those years, I would spend my summer breaks in Florida with family. Those were and always will be some of my best experiences and memories. Pepe and I would regularly go to the arcade, movies, go fishing, to the beach, take Rax (pet dog) to the lake and constantly laughing at jokes and comments my grandfather would say. Pepe was once a pool manager for a hotel on Collins Ave on Miami Beach. I would go with him and explore all the hotels and shops. Pepe was my summertime friend (and uncle) which I will always cherish. Even though Pepe is gone, he will always be a part of me. Love - Mark (Marky) Reinbold.

( Pepe) was my younger brother by 4 years. I remember when we were in our 20s and at the time we both still lived in Florida, I had seen a pair of sunglasses i wanted that we 50$ at the time which was a lot for us back then but he bought them for me anyway. That is how I remember my younger brother always giving what he could. Love you and till we meet again will forever keep you in my heart and cherish all the memories
