Obituary

Lisa Ann King-Weber, 62, of Inglis, Florida passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Lisa was born in Starke, Florida on June 17, 1962 to Hubert and Mary King.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing, spending time with friends and family, and loved her kitty's Puss, Boots, and Barney.


Lisa is survived by her sister, Tina King of Havana, Florida; brother in law Paul Weber of Fort Mitchelle, Kentucky; Cousin Theresa Harrison of Gainesville, Florida, cousin Mary Carr and family of Bronson, Florida; cousin Johnny Harrison of Dunnellon, Florida; Uncle Richard and Jewell Miley and family of South Carolina; Chosen Kids: Alora Catlett, Jansen Gordon, Brooke Batey and Besties: Kathi and David of Tallahassee, Florida and all of the Miley Family, King Family, Harrison Family, and Weber Family.

Proceeded by father Hubert King, Sr. and mother Mary Louise Miley King, brother Hubert “Bubba” King, Jr., Husband Thomas Weber, and brother in law Edward Weber.


A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Inglis located at 1001 Highway 40 E, Inglis, FL 34449. 


Arrangements are entrusted to Weems & Sons Funeral Homes, 715 West Park Avenue Chiefland, Florida 32626.

Dear Lisa, what can I say. You had a kind heart, you had a great sense of humor, you would do anything for anybody, you wouldn’t let anybody pull the wool over your eyes especially when it came to politics. Those are just a few things that I loved about you. I will miss your links that you love to share with people. The world seems a little less full now that you’re gone. You told me several times “That everything was right, where it was supposed to be” and “ it’s on my list” I hope so. I know that you were right with God. I could tell by your beliefs, your empathy and so much more. I am sure that God, Bubba and your best friend Linda Sims-Davis were waiting at the pearly gates for you along with all your friends and family that had gone before you. I love you and will miss you. When it is our time to go, I hope you are standing at the pearly gates, waiting on us. Keep your eyes out for us down here because we sure need it. This popped up in my memories. It is of Lauren, Linda, Wade and Lisa (Linda’s son and Daughter-in-Law). It is from July 31, 2017. Lisa and Linda were best friends. She had a lot of close friends. She will be missed.
