Obituary

Bradford Edwin Jones passed away on March 22, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of hard work and devotion to family. A carpenter by trade, Bradford worked hard to provide for his family no matter what it took. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and willingness to help others.

Born in Melrose, Massachusetts on May 7, 1955 as the oldest to five sisters, Brad enjoyed all things outdoors and excelled as a wrestler on his high school wrestling team. After moving to south Florida and finding “His Girl” Chris they eventually settled and raised their family in Williston, FL.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Jones; his mother, Rosemary Dole; and his sister, Teresa Evans. Bradford is survived by his loving daughters, Maria Jones and Julia (Danny) Etheridge. He also leaves behind sisters, Rosemarie Field, Patricia Donovan, Kathleen Wunderlick, and Stephanie Jones. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, Bradlee and Eva Law, and Ashtyn and Blakey Etheridge.

Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be held close for generations. Bradford will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Weems & Sons Funeral Homes.

A dear and loving brother. A source of strength. He was a good man, simple, humble and caring. He traveled home many times for holidays, birthdays, weddings or to just give support as only a big brother can. He was someone I always looked up to and will always love. His two beautiful girls were the light of his life. Our only condolence is that he is with Chris. Another shining star in the sky. Love Patti

Beadford liked to look up at the stars and would say that one shined brighter on him. We knew that was Chriss. Now when we look up, it will be comforting to see that bright star and know they are together. Bradford was a man of few words. But a delighted smile would emerge on his face when he tapped and twirled. One of the many memories I will cherish. He will always be a part of my heart. I will miss you Papa Smurf. Your loving sister, Rose the Pose with the Big Fat Nose
