Obituary
Alvin Henry Farhner, Jr., known to many as "Pops" was a resident of Chiefland, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Pops was born in Kansa City, Missouri on November 7, 1940 to parents Alvin and Juanita Farhner. He was 84 years old.
Alvin retired from Bell South Telephone Company where he dedicated 30 years as a repairman. He was of the Christian Faith and was a member of the Raytown Christian Church. Alvin was a York Rite Mason, he loved to fish but adored spending time with his family the most.
He is preceded in death by his father Alvin Henry Farhner and mother Juanita Ernestine Prine.
Alvin leaves behind his wife of over 20 years Sharon Munn Farhner, his son Mark Farhner, daughters Kim Kelly, Stephanie (Murray) Wilson; four grandchildren Kayla (Tim) Myers, Casie Burt, Ty Farhner, and Brooke Farhner; as well as 2 great grandchildren Brittleigh Cherry and Hallie Brooke Farhner.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Ebenezer Cemetery. Brother Sandy Bozeman will officiate the service.
