Nellie Heskett

Nellie "Peggy" Albritton Heskett, 85, of Trenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025. Nellie was born on August 3,1939 to Walter Selman & Nellie Phile in Bowling Green, Florida. Nellie dedicated over 40 years to caring for children as a Daycare Worker and Foster Parent for many years. She was a member of the Gilchrist County Crime Watch for 2 years. Nellie was a skilled seamstress for over 60 years and enjoyed sewing. Her hobbies also included camping, reading, gardening and volunteering at her church Living Faith Community Church. Nellie is preceded in death by her parents, son Brian Waller, granddaughters, Rebecca Waller and Heather Lamb, great grandson, Nasir Mullino, brothers Selman Albritton, William Albritton and Charles Albritton. She is survived by her husband Daniel Heskett, daughters Janet and husband William Drumm, June and husband Kyle Morris and sons James Waller and wife Debbie and Daniel Jr. Heskett and wife Robin, sister Linda and husband Robert Hadsock, brother Robert Albritton. Nellie is also survived by grandchildren, Christina Waller, Lora and husband Brian Gardner, Ronnie Williams, Erin Waller, Caleb Waller, Jacob Waller, Joshua Johnson, Kimberly Heskett, Rebecca Bennett and David Adams and great-grandchildren Nicholas Gardner, Alexis Martin, Kiayana Williams, Malik Mullino Jr., Braelyn Williams, Zander Waller, Logan Bennett and Aiden Bennett as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at Living Faith Community Church on February 6, 2025, at 11:00am with a viewing held one hour prior. Nellie will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl on February 7, 2025, in a private ceremony.
