Obituary

Sharon Faith Mayo went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday February 2nd, 2025 in Chiefland, Florida. She was 77 Years old. She was born in Orlando, Florida to Shirley Richards and Verdie Voss on March 6th, 1947. Sharon's love and compassion always seen the best in others. Always trying to help in what ever way she could. She opened her doors to so many who were having hard times. She loved family gatherings and always enjoyed spending time with everyone. Elsa and Pearly are her adopted baby girls (her two little doggies) whom she loved as much as all her Children, Grand-babies and family. We will miss her so much. Her love and laughter will forever be in our hearts. All the wonderful memories we shared will bring us comfort until where all together again, to live eternally with our Heavenly Father. As I read Revelations 21 I'm reminded of the new Heaven and Earth, the Holy City, New Jerusalem. And how God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: For the former things are passed away. Romans 10 is her hearts desire and prayer for all. Which is also the heart of our loving Heavenly Father. Who through is grace and mercy has given us His love. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Sharon is survived by her sisters Brenda (Luke) Bodigon and Linda Voss. Her daughters Lisa (Jeff )Reynolds, Tonya Beatty, Donna Smith, Shirley (David) Griffith. Her Grandchildren Trisha (Brian) Still, Rachel (Jonas) Galmitz, Shelley (Cory) Chadwick, Donnie (Kimberly) Smith Jr., Nancy Green, Louie (Kelsey) Green, JJ Beatty, Elizabeth Beatty, Tabatha Webb Fladger , Jimmy (Bailey) Webb, Cassandra Griffith, DJ Griffith, Brittney Griffith, Brandon Griffith. 37 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grand-son. And many more cousins and family members. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Shirley Richards, Verdie Voss, her brother Dale Richards, husband Tom, son Donald Smith, Daughter Teena Cloyd, Grand-daughter Ashley Green Lablanc, Great Grand-daughter Uriyah Beatty. A Celebration of her life get together will be announced later. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.
