Cathryn Lepley

Cathryn Ann Edwards-Lepley, lovingly known as Cathy, was born on March 23, 1957, and passed away on January 8, 2025, in Old Town, Florida. Originally from California, Cathy later moved to New Jersey, where she spent much of her life with her husband and children. In the early 2000s, she relocated to Florida and began a fulfilling career as a cast member at Disney World. Cathys roles included being a licensed archer who taught others and serving as a Segway tour guide at Fort Wilderness. She found immense joy in her work and cherished the camaraderie of her co-workers. Cathy will be remembered for her deeply understanding and caring nature. She had an extraordinary ability to see the good in people and situations, offering a comforting presence that felt like an angel on ones shoulder or a calm amidst lifes storms. Her unwavering friendship and support left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Holmes Lepley. Cathy is survived by her brother, William Edwards; her daughters Michelle Hoffman and Joy Miller; her grandchildren Trent (Michelle's son) and Mya (Joy's daughter); her partner Steve Varno; and family members Melissa and Joseph Almquist, Guinnevere, Victoria, Ezekiel, Linus, and Adelaide. A celebration of Cathryn's life will be planned at a future date, with details to be shared when available. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
