Obituary

Linda Lou Insprucker, aged 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Dunnellon, Florida, surrounded by her loved ones on October 3rd, 2024. Born on January 5th, 1948, in Pikeville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Woodrow Good and Thelma Thacker-Murphy. Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Clarence "Sonny" Insprucker, and their 12 beloved children: Laura Cooper, Helen Shell, Carla Fehr, Robert "Bob" Insprucker, Mary Brinkman, Gary Insprucker, Jefferey Insprucker, Glenda Baker, Joyce Baker, Teresa Dyess, and Robert "Rob" Antrobus. She was also cherished by her 8 siblings: Wanda, Kenneth, Patricia, Donnie, Ronnie, Rebecca, Judy, and Lola. Linda was a proud grandmother to 36 grandchildren and had numerous great-grandchildren. Her heart swelled with joy for each of them, and she cherished every moment spent together. Linda was a constant source of love and support, always encouraging her grandchildren to chase their dreams and reminding them of their unique gifts. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Shane Insprucker and her brothers: Larry, Woody Jr., David, and Joe. A proud resident of Dunnellon since 1989, Linda was known for her vibrant spirit and passion for music. Together with her husband, they formed "The Sunray Band," a beloved country and western music group that entertained many at their bar, "The Sunray," in Morriston, Florida, for 25 wonderful years. Lindas love for the stage was evident as she sang with joy, often shaking her tambourine while dressed in her signature western flair and cowgirl boots. Over the years, Linda made many friends at The Sunray Saloon, where her warm personality and infectious laughter drew people in, creating a community that knew and loved her deeply. When not performing, Linda found joy in her gardens, transforming her home into a beautiful oasis. It was said that she could put a stick in the ground and grow something spectacular, taking immense pride in every bloom she nurtured. Her gardens were a reflection of her nurturing spirit, just as she nurtured her family with unwavering love and kindness. Linda left an indelible mark on everyone she met, known for her boundless love, infectious laughter, and generous heart. She made it a point to create lasting memories with her family, and her legacy of love will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. There will be a celebration of life for Linda at The Sunray Saloon in Morriston, FL on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 5 PM to 9 PM for any wishing to show Linda the same love she showed for each and every one of us. Celebration of Life Wednesday, October 9, 2024 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM The Sunray Saloon 2451 US-41 Morriston, FL 32668
