Obituary
Myrtice Scabarozi passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Gainesville, Florida. She was 78 years old. Myrtice was born on November 6, 1945 to her parents Fred and Roma Bailey of Trenton, Florida. She attended school in Bronson and graduated from Chiefland High School in 1963, after graduating she attended Santa Fe Community College. Myrtice and her husband Ed of 57 years lived in other areas but ultimately returned to Chiefland after retirement. Her hobbies included genealogy work and volunteering at the Levy County Quilt Museum. Myrtice is survived by her husband, Edward Scabarozi, brothers Brooks Bailey (Helen) of Gainesville, FL, Gregg Bailey (Shirley) of Zephyrhills, FL. Niece, Rae Lynn (Todd) Jackson and nephew, Don (Jenn) Bailey. Grandchildren, Laura (Chad) Cutkomp, Todd Bailey, and many other relatives and friends. She is also survived by a special cousin, Wesley Sache and his family who have been present over the years providing selfless love and support for Myrtice. She was so loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.

Although we haven't seen each other in many recent years, I was saddened to learn of Myrtice's passing. We met during the years of the Geneology group at the quilt museum and had not forgotten her. My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
