Robert Thurman Hogan, resident of Chiefland, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. He was 78 years old. Robert was born in Gainesville on April 6, 1946 to parents Thurman and Catherine Hogan. Robert worked as a case manager for the Department of Children and Families. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Antioch Cemetery in Chiefland, Florida. Brother Jamie Brock will officiate. Robert, We are going to miss our daily phone conversations that we had with you for many years. Your friendship was so important to us. We spent telephone time together during Covid and discussed our time in our homes and all the activities that we were missing. We always reminded each other to get our weekly medications in our pill containers and not to forget to watch our church services on television when we could not attend in person. We always felt that you were part of our family. Until we can be together again, with love, Andy & Carol
