Vernon Denmark

Vernon Lee Denmark resident of Morriston, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. He was 100 years old. Vernon was born on October 25, 1923 in Plant City, Florida to John and Betty Denmark. Vernon was an upholsterer and lived in Levy County for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and relaxing but spending time with his family was his top priority. He took pride in serving in the United States Army. Vernon was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Highlands Baptist Church in Morriston, Florida. Vernon is preceded in death by his sons Donald Ray Denmark and Robert Denmark. He is survived by his wife Ruth Denmark of over 50 years, son, James Randall Wilson (Autumn) nephews John Denmark (Loretta), James Denmark, grandchildren, Thomas, Silas, Christopher, Jayton, Michael and several more grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Highlands Baptist Church with Pastor Troy Havard officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry, Florida.
