Allan Gallagher, Sr.

Allan John Gallagher Sr., 65, of Williston Florida went to be with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ on June 20th, 2024. He spent his last days surrounded by family and friends at Shands Hospital. Allan, the oldest of two boys, was born on December 29th, 1958, in Miami Florida to John and Mary Gallagher. He is survived by four children, Tasha Gallagher, Alita Jensen (Bobby), Mary Gallagher, and Allan John Gallagher Jr., as well as eight grandchildren. Allan was a passionate and amazing chef that brought joy and his own sense of delight to every kitchen he entered. His booming singing voice and unique vocal instrumentals were a comforting serenade that let you know; good food was on the way. From making sure that you had your favorite meal on your birthday to giving tips on how to make the perfect omelet, food was his love language. Filled with a humble yet unrivaled self-confidence, Allan walked to the beat of his own drum and made sure that everyone one around him had the opportunity to share in the music. Never afraid to be the man he was, Allan loved to make people smile. He was also an avid bicycle enthusiast that enjoyed everything from riding to repair work. He thoroughly enjoyed bikes and the freedom they offered him. Above all else Allan loved his family and his faith. Allan John Gallagher Sr. will be forever loved and sadly missed, but his smile, laughter and the joy he brought will never be forgotten.
