John Stumpp

John Earl Stumpp passed away at the age of 61 on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 surrounded by family. He is proceeded in death by his parents Cecil C. Stumpp and Lenita Chaney Stumpp. He is survived by his sister Melissa Stumpp Gilliam (Howard Gilliam Jr) of fanning Springs and nephew King Tyler Gent and great newphews Kameron and Tresiah Gent of Ganiesville. John was born on February 4, 1963 in Fort Sam Houston Texas. He grew up in Kissimmee, Florida and attended Osceoal High School where he was an avid baseball player who was known for his curve ball. He graduated class of 1981 from Osceola High School. He served in the Navy and went on to work as a behavior tech in Yuba City California where he retired. He then moved back to St. Cloud Florida where he resided until he passed. John will be laid to rest in Chiefland, Florida next to his parents. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.
