Obituary
GEORGE JOSEPH BOUDREAU, 87, of Williston, Florida, passed away on May 28, 2024 at Haven Hospice in Chiefland. Born August 22, 1936 in Athol, Massachusetts to Samuel and Doris (Gauvin) Boudreau, he moved to Florida as a young man. He was a truck owner-operator for 45 years, and a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. An avid racing fan, George attended Nascar races at Daytona for 61 years. He enjoyed RV travel to visit with family around the United States and Canada, and to attend races in the southeast. Always ready to talk, he never met a stranger. George was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Richard, Sammy and Paul. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janette Neal Boudreau. He was a loving son, brother, husband and uncle who will always be missed. No services are planned at this time; a celebration of life will be held at a later date. We met George and Janette, 25 years ago parking-tailgating at the Daytona 500 weekend, along with several visits they made to the Nascar races in Richmond, VA. Every yea, we arranged for a D-500 tailgating reunion, starting before sunrise. Amazing man whom always had something to say and share. George also had a very sharp memory, where he reminded us of our previous antics, good and bad. Always a great time. We will miss George and he will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will meet again. God speed and RIP.
