Obituary
Barbara J. Neal, 81, Williston, FL went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 22, 2024. Barbara was born in Williston to Blanton Stuart Hammock, Sr. and Mattie Irene (nee Chesser) Hammock. Growing up there, she went to school in Morriston and Williston. She married Glenn Neal, and they had celebrated 65 years of marriage. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williston, where she worked in the nursery and taught Sunday School. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Glenn Neal, Williston, her daughters Patricia (Steve) Williams, Williston, Kimberly (Mike) Reynolds, Williston, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. She was predeceased by both parents, 9 brothers, and 1 sister. There will be a graveside service at Orange Hill Cemetery on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11 am, followed by a luncheon at the First Baptist Church in Williston. In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to the First Baptist Church in Williston. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston. Barbara was one of the sweetest ladies I've known. Her deep love for Glenn was as deep as his love for her. She will be dearly missed. She is waiting in the house of The Lord for Glenn.
