Obituary
Hazie Ronald "Jughead" Cannon Sr., 78, went home with the Lord on Sunday, April 14th, 2024. Ronald was born on June 21, 1945 to J.D. Cannon and Edna Burnham Cannon. He spent a majority of his life in Levy County working as a farmer for over 50 years. He loved hunting and fishing, but his favorite thing was spending time with family and telling stories. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his son, Hazie R Cannon, Jr. (Amanda); 4 grandchildren, Marcus Avallone, Courtney Percy, Lane Cannon, and Kinley Cannon; and 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Antioch Cemetery in Chiefland with Brother Chuck Cook officiating. We sure are gonna miss him! He welcomed me into the family right away! Every single morning at Carters he tried to steal a smile form Jr and traded her and loved our babies as his own grandbabies! Papa Jug you will be missed so badly!
