Vivian Elko

Vivian A. Curl Elko 76, of Old Town, Florida passed away peacefully at HCA Lake City Hospital on March 11, 2024. She was born in Clearwater, Florida on April 10, 1947. She is preceded in death by Raymond Elwood Curl and Joseph F. Elko, her mother Eliza Nancy Roberts, her son Robert Odell Curl, daughter Paula Marie Burke, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Vivian was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved and respected by everyone that she came in contact with. Vivian was a bartender for the VFW Post 5625 for many years, also the American Legion Post 383 and AMVETS 422. She loved to meet people and service our veterans. She spent many years with the Civil Air Patrol. Vivian was a very active lady in her church at Bible Ministries. She was very loved by her pastor Jeremiah Bible and her congregation that she so much cared for and loved. Vivian is survived by her daughters Lisa Rivenbark (Dana) of Live Oak, FL, and Debbie Farmerie (Jeff) of Asheboro, NC, and son Raymond Curl of Lake City, FL. Grandchildren Chris Meagley (Korey) of Live Oak, FL, Kyle Meagley (Kim), of Cross City, FL, Joey Burke (Kelly) of Hudson, FL, Brandon Farmerie (Alexandra) of Asheboro, NC, Jemma Curl and Olivia Curl of Old Town, FL, Karissa Curl of Hudson, FL, and her great grandchildren Kadee Meagley and Dakota Burke. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Knauff Funeral Home in Chiefland, FL with a visitation held one hour prior. Brother Jeremiah Bible will officiate the service. Burial will be held at the Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Elfers, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Chiefland.
