Eleanor Gain

Eleanor Evanson Gain, resident of Morriston, Florida gained her wings on Saturday, February 17, 2024 with her husband Thomas by her side. She was 77 years old. Eleanor was born on December 14, 1946 in Abington, Pennsylvania. She grew up a long side her twin sister Carol, her sisters Susan, Deborah, Brenda and her brothers James, Kenny and Richard. Eleanor married Thomas F. Gain in 1965. She received her two year diploma from LaSalle University in 1968. Thomas and Eleanor moved to Florida in 1972. She later became a leader for the Girl Scouts in which she touched so many lives. Eleanor was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Gain, her 3 children, Thomas Gain III, Barbara Gain Moore, Laura Lee Gain, her 7 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, Florida. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.
