Obituary

Timothy James Snider at the age of twenty one passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL on February 24th 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents Tammy and Ronn Snider. His siblings, Rebecca Snider, Kara Carlisle and Ryland Snider. His grandmother, Nancy Tilson. His aunts and uncles, Melanie and Kelley Quincey, Rebecca and Danny Rosado. His cousins, Kaitlyn Quincey, Steven Quincey, Annabelle Rosado as well as all of the Sniders. TJ was a special person who found joy in many things. He was a founding member of FBLA. Thanks to the guidance and friendship of Mr. Wilson, he became interested in gaming and simulation where as part of a team they won districts and were invited to state. It was this experience that inspired him to want to pursue this field of study in college. Of all the achievements TJ had it is the quality of friends that truly defines how TJ was. Throughout TJs long battle they stood by him and supported him without hesitation. They helped him keep his spirits up by taking him to the movies and other places where he could hang out with his friends. As the illness progressed and he was unable to venture out as much they would come to the house and participate in his friends giving, Christmas movies and hot chocolate and DND games. Of course, TJ would never forgive us if we did not mention his slight obsession with FUNKOS. What began as a gift of one Fundo has snowballed in to over seven hundred. Those of you who took him on his Fundo sprees made him very happy. We as TJs parents would like to thank you all for coming to celebrate TJs life. We regret not being able to thank everybody individually but we are grateful that you are here to celebrate his life with us. We want to give a special thanks to Melanie and Kelley Quincey for all their help during this painful time. One last note from TJ. I understand that you will cry over my passing because I was a great guy. In the moments you want to cry, go buy a Funko it always made me feel better. But in all seriousness what I want from you all is to be the best versions of yourself. Thank you all and God Bless. Knauff Funeral Home of Williston is honored to serve the Snider family during their time of transition.

Your memory will live on in everyone who knew and loved you. You will never be forgotten. My son considered you his brother and will miss you everyday and hold your memory dear to him. My prayers go out to your family for guidance to help in this time of need from someone who also lost a son and knows the pain. Don't look for answers as to why just look to your memories of the love you shared and hold them dear to your heart. Keep TJ'S memory alive and talk to him daily. Amen
