Nancy Kennison

Nancy was born August 16, 1960, in Homestead, Florida to James A. and Marion Bailey. Nancy was the oldest child of two other siblings, younger sister Janet and younger brother Richard. Nancy graduated from Chiefland High School in 1979. She met and married the love of her life David H. Burney of Gulf Hammock, Florida. She enjoyed all kinds of music and playing cards and checkers. She had two children: David Jr. and Jillian Michelle Burney. Nancy held several different types of jobs, including driving a concrete truck. Nancy was blessed to have seven grandchildren: Zachary Graden, Dakota Bedsole, Illiandra Burney, David Gary, Xain, Connor James, Keira, Andrew, and Kayla. She has one niece, Teena Rayne Hilton. Nancy moved out of the area for a long time and unfortunately, she missed a lot of family functions. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jillian Michelle Burney; her brother, Richard Bailey; and her father, James A. Bailey. She leaves behind her mother, Marion Bailey of Chiefland, Florida; son David H. Burney (Lisa) of Gulf Hammock, Florida; and sister Janet Morton (Bill) of Reddick, Florida. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
