Obituary
Adrienne Bell, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She was born in Greenport, New York and resided in Williston, Florida for most of her life. Adrienne was a devoted wife, mother, and MeMa. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Adrienne adored all animals, with one special Great Dane named Tonka. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Cowart, mother Dorothy Cowart, sister Dotti Sweeney, and stepdaughter Virginia Bell. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Freddie Bell; sister, Gaye (Mary Ann) Cowart; sons, Eric (Kellie) Barley, Chad (Heather) Barley, and stepdaughter Arlene Bell; grandchildren Justin Darling, Trey (Hope) Marshall, Colton Barley, Micah Gallagher, Amanda Marshall, Bridget (Brian) Abrams, Beln Ortiz, and Easton Ortiz; great grandchildren, Wyatt and John Marshall, an and Wyatt Abrams, niece Robin De Marris (Scott) and Nephew David Sweeney (Piper). A celebration of her life will be held at Knauff Funeral home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 10:00 am. Don Standridge will officiate. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Knauff Funeral Home Williston.

My deepest sympathy to the Bell and Barley familys as you mourn the loss of Adrienne. Memories fill my mind. I have known Adrienne since 1965 when she and I wereStewardesses together in Miami. She was very special, full of fun with that wonderful smile and laugh! We remained friends after we both married and lived near one another in Miami and our boys, Eric and Chad and Warren and Billy played together until they moved up to Williston. We stayed in touch sporadically over the years and I know how much she loved and treasured all of you. I am deeply saddened by her loss. Fly with the Angels Adrienne you have earned your Wings again!

I have been thinking about Adrienne for the last two weeks. Today is March 4 and I don't know why because we have not spoken for quite a while, years maybe.Adrienne and I were roommates and flew for national airlines, in Miami.I loved being around Adrienne, She was so natural and honest and her laugh just filled the room with joy. I was looking for Adrian's telephone number tonight. Hoping to speak with her and say hello and see what she was up to so I put her name in google in an obituary came up. I am heartbroken to hear that she just passed away, and I feel like her spirit must've been talking to me Because I couldn't stop thinking about her this week. I am so sorry I didn't call a few weeks ago when I started thinking about her. I feel so sad for her children & her family on both sides I remembered driving up to visit her once years ago and I met Freddie, it was such a nice visit. We had lots of laughing.
